“You should try a BMW X5M or a Trackhawk”, my last sales person at another store & brand told me, when I again asked what was out there that could replace TWO of my current beast SUV’s, with ONE. Too many cars, and too many trades, but he was right. Drove a few X5’s. Liked. Thankfully there’s several BMW dealers in Colorado, and after inquiring online at all of them, and pondering different engines & options, I got connected with James Yelvington at Gebhardt BMW in Boulder. I still wasn’t sure, but let him know I was open, either to the plug in Hybrid or a full M…crazy, as usual. James, nailed it. “We have a plug in demo, and a CPO 2022 X5M, BUT I also have—hard to find—an almost fully loaded brand new X5 M50i someone ordered, and backed out of. Same V8 as the M, but posher. Come see it.” I did. I loved it. And it checked the performance boxes I loved of the M, but in a posher more luxurious package, for…$25k less. James & the Gebhardt team, including Tomaso, and especially Ryan Ballweg in finance, were on point and incredibly helpful, with a complex “trade 2 brand new expensive cars for 1 new expensive car”, and even instantly available by text & email as I was traveling for work on the east coast. Everything was done, ready, wrapped up, they helped me get my 2nd trade to the store even on a busy Saturday, and have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Refreshing, after the last few expensive cars I’ve purchased and their dealers, to also experience how great the service team is here. Needed something checked out, and instead of “we’ll take a look and see”, even on a Saturday they had the Shop Foreman Jonathan to go for a ride with me to understand—no guessing. Live in Denver, and yes, technically we have 2 other stores “kind of closer”, but the experience at Gebhardt in Boulder and fun, easy 32 minute nice trip is worth it. I didn't buy my car at Gebhardt and I am not a previous customer, but they immediately welcomed me to the family with top notch customer service. Jhett Nealy (my service advisor) pretty much bent over backwards to get me a loaner car and same-day service for my brake pads. Everyone I encountered was professional, courteous, and exceeded my expectations. The waiting room is clean and comfortable with a nice offering of refreshments. I even ended up buying a few accessories from the parts department (who knew BMW made incredible smelling air fresheners??). My car was returned clean, and right on time as promised. I highly recommend this dealership.

Working with this service center is a scheduling nightmare. I have tried to get my windshield replaced for months. When I brought my car in for the replacement, I called the service center that morning to make sure everything was set since I live 45 minutes away. When I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes to speak to someone. Once they were able to speak to me they let me know that the windshield was not even in stock. They apologized and said they would make it right with me, assuring me they would reach out and schedule a time to pick up my car, give me a loaner, and replace the windshield without inconvenience. I never heard from anyone after I left the shop. I tried rescheduling a few weeks later and then they told me appointments would be at least a month out. I still do not have a new windshield. I regret buying a BMW and having to work with this dealership. They are disorganized and waste your time and money.

I got my car towed here for service because of the fuel pumps. The customer service is lacking. You would think there would be clearer communication and a sense of urgency. I’m not from here I was headed back to TN. I’ve been stuck in Denver since Sunday 7/10 because this shop has not finished a service on Thursday 7/14. I was left with no loaner car and no updated information on my vehicle. Not to mention no answers the service phones when transferred. Sometimes you just want good service. And to be listened to instead of ignored when explaining something about your car.

Absolutely terrible service. I brought a vehicle in for a malfunctioning seat belt sensor. They kept the car for five days, couldn't provide a loaner vehicle, and then failed to fix the problem. Literally malfunctioned on my drive home from the dealership. Last time I was in they recommended I replace the radiator as "preventative maintenance". I get far better service at Boulder Nissan for half the price.

I don't tend to write reviews and I did not buy a car from them, but I had to use their lot when I got a flat tire on my truck and Jeff was so nice and hospitable making sure I was safe and had help on the way. It was past the time of their service department being open, otherwise he would have had them assist me. If I ever decide to go with a BMW, you have a customer in me! Thank you!

If there was less than 1 star I would give it. Bought a used car in Jan 2020. Gebhardt failed to produce a title. I ended up returning it in Aug 2020, filed a small claims suit in 2021 and won in Feb 2022. They still have not paid the court ordered settlement. I'm 68 and would advise against ever dealing with these crooks. I will be filing a lien this is not going away!
